Lauren Kessler's appreciation and interest in vintage and couture fashion has led her to create a unique line of accessories and headbands under the name of Lauren Nicole Accents. Each piece in her collection is handmade using top quality silk chiffon, silk charmeuse, and lace, and accented with crystal and bead embellishments. The Chicago native exhibited an interest in fashion from an early age. Kessler studied art and design at the School of the Art Institute in Chicago, and is currently studying fashion design at Syracuse University. In 2007, she interned in New York City for fashion designer Vera Wang and then for Oscar de la Renta in 2009.
